De la debutul sau cu hitul 'Synaesthesia' si pana la ultimele productii de succes 'By Your Side', 'Waiting Here For You', 'The Last Time', proiectele muzicale ale lui Steve Helstrip alias The Thrillseekers sunt unele dintre cele mai inspirate si miscatoare facute vreodata.
The Thrillseekers incepe inregistrarile in 1999, cand in studioul din casa lui , Steve creeaza si pune `piatra de hotar` a trance-ului melodic 'Synaesthesia' sustinuta masiv de Paul Oakenfold si Paul van Dyk. Initial se lanseaza la Neo Recordings si ajunge sa vanda peste 1 milion de exemplare in intreaga lume. Dupa falimentul celor de la Neo Recordings din 2003, Steve lanseaza propriul label, Adjusted Music, unde relanseaza in 2004 'Synaesthesia' si 'Affinity', ambele track-uri fiind iar foarte bine primite de publicul trance.
Cariera ametitoare a englezului Steve Helstrip incepe in forta, dupa doar 12 luni dupa ce pune acul pe primul vinyl, cand este invitat sa mixeze la petrecerea zilei de nastere a lui Paul van Dyk. Mai tarziu este remarcat de Pete Tong ,denumindu-l pe Steve `Brilliant!`. Pana in prezent a fost plasat in Top 100 Dj Mag de 4 ori, ajungand pe locul 45 in 2008. El a colaborat cu pionierii muzicii electronice cum ar fi: Trevor Horn, Chicane, Ferry Corsten si i-a remixat pe Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Sonique, Timo Maas, Blank & Jones, Seb Fontaine.
In 2005 lanseaza compilatia 'NightMusic' vol 1, vol 2 si 3 urmand sa apara in 2007 si respectiv 2008. Tot din 2008 emite lunar NightMusic Podcast, ce a devenit rapid unul dintre cele mai populare show-uri FM si Internet.
Steve a inregistrat sub diverse denumiri: En Motion, Insigma (impreuna cu Andy Perring aka Pulser), Rapid Eye (impreuna cu Tim Stark, owner-ul label-ului ATCR) si Hydra.
