''Sean Tyas trebuie sa fie unul dintre cei mai fierbinti producatori in acest moment'' - Armin van Buuren (august 2006). Inceputul este undeva in 1999, cu primul sau Tech-12s, pe care invata sa mixeze. Dar pentru el nu a fost de-ajuns si in cativa ani isi aranjeaza un studio si incepe productia inregistrarilor. Pana la 26 de ani Sean Tyas a remixat artisti, precum: Christina Aquilea, Pink, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Milian, Moby si PPK.In acest timp el a inceput si cariera de dj, mixand in cluburile din New York, cum ar fi Shelter si Exit. Performantele sale s-au facut cunoscute si la nivel mondial; din Australia si SUA pana in Indonezia si Irlanda. Si-a asociat munca si numele cu artisti, precum: Armin van Buuren, John Askew si John O'Callaghan, printre multi altii, lansand pentru mai multe case de discuri de renume, inclusiv A State Of Trance a lui Armin van Buuren (sub pseudonimul Logistic) si Discover - parte din Recover World. Dupa ce a devenit cunoscut cu cateva productii, John Askew i-a cerut lui Sean sa se alature label-ului Discover, la care John actiona ca A&R. Prima sa lansare pe acest label a fost remix-ul 'Cold Fusion' - Aled Mann, iar primul single, cu care a debutat pe acest label, a fost 'Lift', care este un release clasic al acestui label. ''Memorati cuvintele mele...Tyas va avea un suscces imens!!!'' - Askew (decembrie 2005).Sean Tyas este de nationalitate new-yorkeza, acum locuind in Elvetia, unde s-a mutat dupa ce a intalnit-o pe sotia sa, Mirella Tyas, care a fost subiectul piesei lansate de Tyas in 2006, la Afterglow Recordings, 'Mirella EP'. Se pare, ca mutarea sa in Europa s-a dovedit a fi un pas mare pentru artist, producand pentru DJ Beam in Germania si perfectionandu-si experienta sa ca producator de studio. 'Mirella' a primit doua remix-uri din partea lui Askew si Dave Joy. A urmat remix-ul pentru Duderstadt - Muhanjala, care a intrat in aproape toate playlist-urile dj-lor trance, inclusiv Armin van Buuren si Paul van Dyk. Remix-ul semnat de Sean pentru DJ Beam - 'On Your Mind' s-a dovedit a fi un alt hit, care a zdrobit cluburile. Sprijinit constant de Paul van Dyk, John O'Callaghan si Armin van Buuren, acest remix l-a ajutat pe Sean sa devina in 2006 unul dintre cei mai talentati artisti ai genului.
Single-ul 'Lift', lansat pe Discover, a fost ales single-ul castigator in concursul lui Sander van Doorn - Punk'd Remix Competition, lasand in urma 250 de alte remix-uri. A fost, de asemenea, clasat in DJ Magazine Top 100 in 2008 pe pozitia 54. Ca dj, Sean a inceput intr-un ritm lent, dar sigur, ajungand ca in 2008 sa performeze in peste 30 de tari. Tot in 2008 Tyas a devenit rezident trimestrial pentr Sheffield (UK) - Trance Night Off The Trails.
Sean gazduieste show-ul radio Tytanium Session pe DI.FM in fiecare a 3-a miercuri a lunii si pe AH.FM in a 3-a vineri a lunii. Sean produce in prezent primul sau album si planuieste sa fondeze propriul sau label.
