Daca ar trebui sa definesti notiunea de ''muzica de dans rafinata'' ai lua in in consideratie o serie de factori...cunoastere, pasiune, talent si foarte multa munca. Combina aceste caracteristici si vei ajunge la Marco V. Ca multi alti dj de renume, Marco V s-a nascut si a crescut in Olanda. Adanc inradacinat pe scena muzicii electronice de la o varsta frageda (14 ani), clar aceasta a fost calea pe care Marco V trebuia s-o urmeze.
Pentru a ramane in fruntea listei trebuie sa te adaptezi schimbarilor si sa faci fata noilor tendinte iar Marco V este un maestru in asta. La pupitru detine controlul maxim asupra multimilor,cu un stil greu de caracterizat in cuvinte. Calatorind in jurul lumii nu cred ca vei gasi vreun club mare care sa nu fi simtit aceasta forta.
Studioul sau a lansat mai multe imnuri decat o echipa nationala de fotbal. De la clasicele single-uri ca 'Indicator', 'Simulated' si 'Godd', pana la cele care au bantuit cluburile 'Second Bite', 'More Than A Life Away' si 'Red Blue Purple', precum si actualizarile aduse de el la piesele clasice de succes, cum ar fi 'Cafe del Mar' si 'Loops & Tings Relooped', discografia lui Marco V este foarte extinsa si de invidiat.
In 1996 Marco V ajunge sa fie rezident la clubul 'De Danssalon' din Eindhoven, Olanda. Dupa cativa ani de rezidenta, el incepe sa se concentreze asuprea productiei. Il intalneste pe Benjamin Bates, care avea sa fie viitorul sau partener de productie. Piesele produse de Marco si Benjamin au inceput sa aiba din ce in ce mai mult succes, astfel Marco V devenid cunoscut si apreciat in intreaga lume. Apare pe 'Innercity Amsterdam 2000' si mixeaza 'Innercity' al acelui an. Cea mai importanta realizare a sa din acea perioada a fost cand a remixat pentru Energy 52, 'Cafe del Mar'. Marco a mai realizat niste succese notabile cu productiile personale 'Godd', 'In Charge' si 'Simulated'. Aceste productii l-au ajutat sa isi creeze si primul album 'Con:Fusion' care a devenit in 2002 cel mai bine vandut album dance din Olanda ,primind si Best Dance Artist Album la BBM Dance Awards. Din studio Marco reuseste cu versiunea sa a clasicei piese 'Loops & Tings' sa sparga toate topurile din Olanda si a fost lansata la sfarsitul lui 2003. In 2004 lanseaza compilatia 'Combi:Nations', care a fost un mare succes comercial si ajunge la sfarsitul anului in DJ Mag Top 10. Albumul artistului lansat in octombrie 2005, '200V' a avut un efect similar ba chiar mai mult a facut sa explodeze ringurile de dans si l-a catapultat pe Marco V in playlist-ul Radio 1. Marco se mentine ocupat in majoritatea timpului ajungand in intreaga lume cu dj ca Tiesto, Armin van Buuren si Paul van Dyk, mergand pe la cele mai mari festivaluri europene Dance Valley (Olanda), Planet Love (Irlanda), Global Gathering (UK) si Impluz (Olanda). Tot in 2005 Marco isi infiinteaza propriul sau label numit In Charge, in colaborare cu Dick De Groot, omul de baza al casei de discuri Be Yourself Music, fosta ID&T Records, alaturi de care Marco V a lucrat multi ani. Primele aparitii ale label-ului au fost produse de Marco V si Benjamin Bates, asigurand un inceput bun, insa in timp au urmat si alte vinil-uri incluzand si piese ale altor artisti. In agust 2007, intr-un interviu dat pentru HarderFaster.net, Marco V spunea cum a evoluat stilul sau in timp, cum ii place sa se joace cu stilurile si ca este mereu in cautare de ceva nou si diferit pentru a face lucrurile mereu interesante.
De curand, Marco V si Sander van Doorn au facut echipa pentru una dintre cele mai incitante colaborari asteptata de multi fani, single-ul 'Organic'. Ca raspuns si pentru a consolida aceasta colaborare, Marco V i-a facut o vizita lui van Doorn la studiourile acestuia, unde au creat un al doilea track, 'What Say?'. Dupa ce vreme de cateva luni au testat track-ul in fata a mii de clubberi din intreaga lume, ambii artisti au ajuns la concluzia ca e mometul lansarii oficiale. Aceasta s-a intamplat pe 25 mai 2009. Remix package-ul este semnat de Koen Groeneveld, Bingo Players si Hardwell. Reactiile unor mari artisti pentru 'What Say?': ''Alta colaborare cool!" (Tiesto), ''Suport masiv pentru aceasta piesa!'' (Paul van Dyk), ''Unul dintre cele mai bune track-uri ale momentului!'' (Armin van Buuren), ''Suport in Corsten's Countdown!'' (Ferry Corsten), ''Il cant peste tot!'' (Judge Jules), ''Suport masiv!'' (Eddie Halliwell), ''Este inclus pe noua mea compilatie!" (Lange), ''Doua minti luminate ce gandesc ca una!" (Dake Dresden), ''Imi place remixul Koen Groeneveld!'' (David Guetta).
In 2009 Marco V mai lanseaza un album numit 'Propaganda'. Nici nu putea alege un nume mai bun, pe album artistul combinand trance, techno, progressive si chill-out, intr-un cuvant tot ce este mai bun din Marco V.
Marco V se claseaza in 2008 pe pozitia 44 in DJ Mag Top 100 si pe locul 33 pe DJ List.
Unii oameni se nasc cu muzica in sange si Marco V este unul dintre acestia - un ''cameleon muzical''. Povestea Marco V este abia la inceput!
